Tender Loving Care Veterinary Services is a well-established low-cost pet vaccination and preventative health care clinic, with 25 community locations across Arizona. Our mission is to provide quality, affordable and accessible veterinary care, focusing on vaccinations and preventative health measures, while still treating minor ailments. Our clinics operate four days a week with flexible scheduling and no holidays or nights. At TLC one of our missions is to have a culture change in the Veterinary industry. Career Opportunities: We are looking for energetic, talented, and compassionate Veterinarians to join our team for full-time, part-time, relief or contract work. This is an excellent opportunity for Veterinarians who want to practice veterinary medicine in a low-stress environment, without surgical responsibilities. Our clinic services are dedicated to vaccinations, preventative health care and minor ailments, making it an ideal setting for those experiencing “burnout” and looking to make a positive impact on community pet health. This is a great environment for a new or mature Veterinarian who is seeking a healthy work-life balance. Each Veterinarian is supported by three dedicated technicians allowing the Veterinarian to focus on the client and less on paperwork. Your technicians will drive you to each location in one of our comfortable vehicles. Each vehicle is fully stocked and equipped with all the medications needed to perform clinics. Every location is inspected by the Arizona Veterinary Medical Examining Board and given a Premise license. You and your staff will visit one to three clinic locations daily and spend between one and a half to three hours per location. We see clients in-clinic roughly 18 – 24 hours weekly. Benefits & Compensation:

• Our compensation ranges between $120k – $140k annually
• Great work-life balance. Lower in-clinic hours weekly (Tuesday 3 – 4 hrs., Wednesday 3 – 4.5 hrs., Thursday 4.5 – 5 hrs., Saturday 4.5 – 5 hrs.) Sun., Mon. & Fridays off

Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent degree) from an accredited veterinary school
• Licensed to practice in the state of Arizona
• In good standing with State Veterinary Board 
• Excellent client and staff interaction and interpersonal skills
• Compassion for animals and a commitment to their well-being
• Ability to work as part of an effective team
• Administer vaccinations and preventative health measures to canine and feline patients
• Treat minor ailments to bring pets back to full health
• Conduct thorough exams
• Provide education and guidance to pet owners on preventive care
• Collaborate with a supportive team of veterinary professionals. 3-1 staff ratio for proper support at all clinics
• Believe in preventative medicine (vaccination, parasitic prevention, and nutritional support)
