Assembly Technician

Tempe, Arizona | Full-Time | 

Position Summary

Advotech is seeking an Electronic Assembly Technician to join our team.  Prior experience is helpful but not required. We will train the right candidate who demonstrates reliability, a willingness to learn, and a positive approach to the work and their fellow team members.    New hires will be under a 90-day probationary period with reviews at 30,60 & 90 days.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electronic assembly work in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.
• Follow written and verbal instructions carefully.   Details are crucial in our business. 
• Learn assigned assembly processes, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work cooperatively with team members to meet production needs.

Required Job Skills

• Steady hands as we work with very small components.   
• Microscope usage may be frequent.   
• Ability to adapt to new projects and processes on a regular basis.     
• Processes include part cleaning, soldering, component assembly, and inspection. 

Compensation, Schedule & Benefits

• Starting pay: $18.00 per hour - $21.00 per hour DOE
• Schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
• Overtime: May occasionally be available or required, but is not frequent
