Together, we're improving health and improving lives.Labcorp is seeking a Lab Assistan t to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.Work Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 10:00 pm - 6:30 am. Required overtime as needed.Receive and sort clinical lab specimensPrepare specimens for testing and analysisScan and/or data entry of specimen and patient informationEnsure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenanceComplete record logs and other administrative duties as requestedFollow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standardsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentOne or more years of experience in an assembly or manufacturing production environmentOne or more years of experience in a clinical, hospital, reference, or diagnostic laboratory setting,One or more years of knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and quality standardsOne or more years of experience using laboratory information systems (LIS) or electronic medical record systemsBasic computer knowledge and data entry skillsAt Labcorp we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives.
