Ramp Service Agent Part TimeLocation: Sky Harbor Municipal Apt (PHX-TRML) Cities: Phoenix - AZFleet Service Clerks perform the handling of items on and off aircraft, carts, containers, and trucks; transporting items between terminals and aircraft; receiving, delivering, weighing and documenting of cargo in a cargo specific facility (warehouse) or a loading dock area. The terms and conditions of this position are covered by the Transport Workers Union (TWU) Collective Bargaining Agreement. Starting pay is $20.63 per hour.These are the essential functions of the job:Move baggage and cargo of various weights to and from aircraftDrive and operate belt loadersService aircraft at gates with ground power and air conditioningTow and pushback aircraft from gatesService aircraft lavatories and water portsClean interior of aircraft when neededPosition beverage and luggage carts around the ramp areaWorks outdoors in various weather conditionsWork shifts that include irregular and/or extended hours, weekends and holidaysGeneral:Report to position on time, as scheduled, and at your assigned station or location, including mandatory overtime requirements, varying shifts, weekends, and holidaysComplete job-relevant trainingsAdhere to government regulations (e.g., DOT, FAA, TSA)Adhere to company policies, procedures, and performance standardsPerform all functions in accordance with safety procedures and policiesWear uniforms as required by company policyWear all personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with rules and regulationsWork outdoors with exposure to extreme weather/elements, engine noise, and noxious fumesDe-ice aircraft by directing a chemical/water stream at aircraft surfacesPerform catering serviceAll you'll need for success:High school diploma or GED or international equivalentMust be 18 years of age or olderLift, load, unload, and transport bags and cargo to/from aircraft's, bag carts, and conveyor beltsMust have knowledge of and ability to use basic computer skillsPeople-oriented and highly motivated, with a positive and cooperative attitudeGood communication skillsApplicable valid driver's license as required by local authoritiesMust be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicableCompletion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check and/or fingerprinting to satisfy company and security requirementsAbility to obtain jet bridge certificationMust have the ability to pass the US Postal Service background checkWhat you'll get:Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
