As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated and organized Warehouse Associate.SUMMARY: A Warehouse Associate is responsible for handling, transporting, and storing both non-hazardous and hazardous materials within a warehouse setting. Their primary responsibilities include loading and unloading shipments, tracking and updating inventory records, and ensuring that incoming deliveries accurately match purchase orders.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Verify the quantity and quality of incoming shipments for accuracyLabel all products and store them in their appropriate locationsIdentify and retrieve the correct items during the delivery processMaintain accurate, up-to-date records of stock and inventoryProcess returns by completing required documentation and communicationsEnsure all material handling equipment is properly maintained through routine checksCommunicate purchasing needs and track items that are low in stockWork with internal teams to locate missing packages, resolve delivery errors, and replace damaged goodsKeep the warehouse clean, organized, and well-maintained, including yard and off-site storage areasPerform debris removal and maintain cleanliness at job sitesClean and organize equipment in the warehouse so it is ready for dispatchUnderstand logistics processes, quality control, equipment maintenance, and facility upkeepFollow all safety procedures and remain alert to potential hazardsPerform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse operations and team objectivesQUALIFICATIONS & Skills:High school diploma or GED equivalent required1–2 years of experience in a warehouse environment operating heavy equipment preferredThis position requires operating company vehicles.Must possess a valid driver's license and meet Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requirements.Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screenExperience with inventory control, stock management, and record keeping is an assetForklift operation certification and experience operating various warehouse machineryKnowledge of warehouse equipment, logistics processes, and material handling practicesProficient in data entry, basic math, and computer systems for inventory and record keepingExcellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilitiesEffective time management and organizational skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:Frequently required to walk.Frequently required to stand.Frequently required to sit.Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.Continually required to talk or hear.Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard.Occasionally/Frequently/Continually required to lift/push/carry items sometimes exceeding 50 lbs.Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts.Occasionally work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals.Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.Occasionally work around loud noise (examples: metal can manufacturing, large earth-moving equipment)Occasionally work around very loud noise (example: jack hammer work)Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used:AutomobileThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this job.
