In this role, you will coordinate and manage job orders for independent driver contractors while ensuring exceptional customer service and on-time delivery performance. This is a fast-paced position ideal for someone who thrives in a logistics environment, communicates effectively, and can prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.What You'll DoProvide excellent customer service via phone and email to internal and external customersDispatch and assign job orders to independent driver contractorsPrepare and schedule next-day deliveries and routes based on priorities and driver availabilityCommunicate with drivers regarding:Special delivery instructionsPickup and delivery routingQuestions related to deliveries and proof of deliveryApply ancillary charges such as waiting time and van fees to job ordersPost routes and recurring orders in the CXT system accurately and timelyManage driver activations and deactivations in the systemComplete daily scheduled coverage reports for management reviewReassign routes and resolve scheduling conflicts as neededReport driver and customer issues to Driver Support and Operations ManagementGather and enter order information accurately into the systemSupport additional operational tasks as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 2 years of customer service and/or logistics experience preferredDispatching experience strongly preferredStrong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyProficiency with Microsoft Office and dispatching/scheduling softwareAbility to work independently and make timely decisionsFlexibility to work overtime as operational needs requireHealth insuranceVision insurancePaid time off (vacation and sick time)Supportive team environment with growth opportunitiesWhy Join Us?We value dependable team members who take pride in providing excellent service and keeping operations running smoothly.
