Position: Unarmed Security Officer (Corporate Setting) Company: United Security, LLC Location: Phoenix, AZ (near I-17 & Thomas) Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Pay: Starting at $18.00/hour

Overview

United Security is seeking a professional and reliable Unarmed Security Officer for a corporate property in Phoenix. This is a daytime position focused on maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment for employees, visitors, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the property

Verify and log all visitors, vendors, and deliveries

Conduct routine patrols of the premises (interior & exterior)

Provide a strong visible presence to deter unwanted activity

Respond to incidents, disturbances, or safety concerns

Write detailed Daily Activity Reports and incident reports

Provide excellent customer service and assist employees/guests as needed

Requirements

Valid Arizona Unarmed Security Guard Card (required)

Highly dependable and punctual

Strong customer service skills

Ability to effectively de-escalate situations

Must maintain a professional appearance at all times

Ability to remain calm and professional in all situations

Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Comfortable working outdoors as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Previous security experience in a corporate or professional setting

Experience with access control systems and reporting tools

Strong de-escalation skills
