You'll play an important role in making sure our garage doors and products are loaded accurately, protected from damage, and ready to reach our customers.What We OfferStarting pay of $18.50 per hourOpportunity to earn $19.50 per hour after your first 90 daysFull-time, steady employmentHands-on trainingOpportunities to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities401(k) with company matchingMedical, dental, and vision insuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA)Life insurancePaid time offWhat You'll DoThis is an active, hands-on warehouse position where you'll help move, organize, verify, and load garage doors and related products for shipment.Your responsibilities will include:Pulling and pushing product carts from the warehouse floor to the loading dockMoving garage doors, hardware, openers, and related products by hand or with equipmentLoading doors, sections, hardware, and other products into trailers and box trucks according to shipment load listsLifting, stacking, packing, and organizing garage doors, track, hardware, openers, and assembliesVerifying products using load lists and/or scanners to make sure the correct products are shippedStaging products in the proper location for loadingFollowing the route loading order established by the supervisorOrganizing loads based on product size, quantity, and delivery routeSecuring loads using foam, load bars, poles, and other materials to help prevent damage during transportationHelping ensure trailers and box trucks are loaded safely and efficientlyUsing forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, racks, and other material-handling equipmentFollowing proper shipping, loading, and safety proceduresReporting product, quality, shipping, or safety concerns to the supervisorUsing basic computer systems and ERP software as needed to support shipping activitiesAssisting with closing shipments and preparing shipping documentationCommunicating with Shipping, Customer Service, Procurement, office staff, supervisors, and managersKeeping the dock and warehouse clean, organized, and safePerforming other job-related duties as assignedWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for team members who are:Dependable and ready to workComfortable working in a physical, fast-paced environmentAble to work effectively as part of a teamFocused on safety and qualityDetail-oriented and able to follow loading instructionsAble to recognize and work accurately with letters, numbers, product labels, and shipment informationWilling to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilitiesAble to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining accuracyPhysical RequirementsThis is a physically active position.
