Entry-Level Mailroom Clerk

SkyWater Technology is seeking a diligent and organised individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Mailroom Clerk. As a key member of our administrative support staff, you will be responsible for the efficient management of all incoming and outgoing mail and packages, ensuring seamless communication and delivery across the organisation. Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and accurately distribute all incoming mail, parcels, and internal correspondence to the correct departments and personnel in a timely manner.
• Prepare and process all outgoing mail and packages, including weighing, applying correct postage, and arranging for courier pick-ups.
• Maintain an organised and tidy mailroom environment, ensuring all supplies are adequately stocked.
• Operate and maintain mailroom equipment, such as postage meters and scanning devices.
• Keep meticulous records and logs of all incoming and outgoing deliveries, particularly for tracked or sensitive items.
• Handle confidential and sensitive documents with the utmost discretion and care, adhering to company security protocols.
• Assist with other administrative duties and support departmental projects as required.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• A reliable and professional demeanour with a strong work ethic.
• The ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with email and data entry.
• Physical fitness to lift and move packages of a moderate weight.
• Previous experience in a mailroom, logistics, or administrative role is desirable but not essential.

Compensation and Benefits
