Warehouse Picking Associate

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is committed to connecting skilled professionals with meaningful career opportunities. We are seeking a picker to support our client's team in Chandler, AZ. The shift is from 8AM to 4:30PM, Monday through Friday. This is a temporary to hire position.

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Picking Associate is responsible for accurately selecting, preparing, and staging customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to use handheld technology to ensure orders are picked correctly and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick customer orders using an RFID scanner
• Read and interpret item numbers, customer numbers, and pick tickets
• Verify product quantities and descriptions to ensure order accuracy
• Maintain productivity standards while meeting quality expectations
• Stage completed orders for shipping or further processing
• Communicate discrepancies, shortages, or damaged items to leadership promptly
• Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Ability to use an RFID scanner or similar handheld device
• Strong ability to read numbers, labels, and customer identifiers accurately
• Detail-oriented with a focus on efficiency and accuracy
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Schedule & Work Hours:

• Monday through Friday schedule
• Overtime opportunities available as business needs require
• Occasional Saturday work may be required; associates will be notified by their manager when Saturday shifts are available or needed

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Prior warehouse or order picking experience
• Basic computer skills
• Familiarity with warehouse productivity or performance standards
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed

Work Environment:

• Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures
• Fast-paced, team-oriented environment
