job summary:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our technical team in Phoenix, AZ. This position plays an integral part in validating robust software solutions and deploying high-quality code in a cloud-connected infrastructure. You will work within an collaborative framework to support core application delivery and automate regression and integration testing strategies.

responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and execute comprehensive automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, and Cucumber.
• Perform API validation across microservices systems using Postman and REST Assured tools.
• Validate cloud-based datasets and application behaviors across Google Cloud Platform environments including BigQuery and Cloud Storage.
• Analyze backend databases and ensure data consistency by writing targeted SQL validation scripts.

qualifications:

Proven experience in functional test automation utilizing Selenium with Java/TestNG/Cucumber frameworks.

Hands-on proficiency with API testing methodologies and tools such as Postman or REST Assured.

Practical understanding or working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform architecture (specifically BigQuery, Cloud Storage, or GKE).

Strong understanding of continuous integration pipelines (Git/Jenkins) and standard SDLC/STLC methodologies.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Prior corporate experience within American Express or financial services ecosystems.

Advanced understanding of microservices architectures and cloud-native application testing patterns.

Experience executing automated tests inside multi-stage CI/CD environments.
