Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesMove carts between the terminals using a pickup truck and trailer (class C license).Manually move carts throughout departures, baggage claim, garage, and rental car center to our cart collection areas (vending units or cart track).Adhere to cart replenishment inventory protocol for rental mechanized equipment.Perform routine cleaning of carts, CMU's, EQR's, cart tracks, locks, keys, and moving equipment.Learn and practice safe work habits thus assuring safety to self, co-workers, company equipment, airport property, passengers and visitors.General customer service to assist passengers navigating throughout the airport.Possess strong innate work habits and perform the job in an honest, reliable, and a professional manner.Effectively communicate with peers, maintenance and management to improve business operations.Able to withstand undesirable weather conditions (wind, rain, snow, extreme temperatures up to 115 degrees)Adaptable to operational change.Additional duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum 2 years successful work experience.Demonstrated ability to safely maneuver truck and trailer.Open scheduling availability required, including weekends and holidays.Displays confidence and competence in fast pace environment.Comfortable speaking to the general public.Ability to pass state, federal (FAA), Home Land Security clearance requirements and reference checks.Certifications / LicensesAbility to get an Airport Badge is required.Drivers License is required, good driving history.Physical RequirementsLift 40 lbs. to waist height.Walk and stand for duration of shift.Physical ability, manual dexterity needed to lift/push/pull a minimum of 75-100lbs.Ability to walk and stand for 10 hours a day.Experience2 year(s): Prior work experience2 year(s): Previous driving experienceLicenses & CertificationsDrivers LicenseAirport BadgeSkillsCustomer ServiceCommunicationDrivingTroubleshootingTime ManagementFlexibilityCleaningBehaviorsTeam Player: Works well as a member of a groupEnthusiastic: Shows intense and eager enjoyment and interestMotivationsSelf-Starter: Inspired to perform without outside helpEqual Opportunity Employer.
