Vehicle Handlers Needed

Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring Vehicle Handlers for a large, well-known automotive client in Mesa, AZ. As a Vehicle Handler, you will provide assistance with vehicle handling tasks and duties to support supply chain needs. You will work with a team to reach daily and monthly department goals. Cardinal Staffing Services is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($19-21.50/hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).

Available shifts:

• 2nd shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm
• 3rd shift: 10:00pm-6:30am (Trains on 1st shift for a few days. 6:00am-2:30pm)

Responsibilities of the Vehicle Handler:

• Inspect vehicles for damage prior to loading and unloading.
• Drive and push various types of vehicles to designated areas within the outside staging area.
• Prepare vehicles for shipment carriers.
• Adhere to safety standards and regulations to ensure the safety of themselves, others, and the vehicles.
• Keep accurate records of vehicle locations and movements within the outside staging area.
• Report any vehicle damage or safety concerns to port management.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with other general operations as required.
• Use handheld tablets to track vehicle movements and inventory.
• Work closely with team members to ensure operations run smoothly.

Required Qualifications of the Vehicle Handler:

• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• 2 years of previous consecutive automotive experience.
• Proven knowledge and ability to demonstrate a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed. (Lots of overtime available and it may be expected)
