**Logistics Specialist (Night Shift)****Phoenix, AZ****Schedule:** Monday - Thursday | 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM**Pay:** $20/hr**Position Overview**We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support transportation and logistics operations during overnight hours. This role is responsible for tracking shipments, monitoring deliveries, coordinating with drivers, updating customers, and ensuring accurate load information is maintained throughout the transportation process.This is an in-office position during overnight hours. The employee will work independently during non-business hours; however, the building is secured with 24/7 on-site security.**Key Responsibilities**+ Enter and maintain load information within the Freight Optimizer system+ Track shipments and provide status updates to customers, receivers, and account managers+ Monitor daily pickups and deliveries to ensure on-time performance+ Communicate with drivers to confirm delivery schedules and shipment status+ Verify load information and delivery details for accurate processing+ Investigate shipment overages, shortages, damages, and complete required documentation+ Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments as needed+ Accept or decline loads based on direction from account managers+ Provide routing information and directions to drivers+ Maintain customer profiles and shipment records+ Support overall logistics operations to ensure smooth freight movement**Qualifications**+ Minimum 1 year of logistics, transportation, dispatch, or supply chain experience+ General knowledge of the transportation and freight industry+ Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems+ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills+ Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills**Preferred Qualifications**+ High School Diploma or GED+ Experience with transportation management systems (TMS), freight tracking, or logistics software+ Experience preparing reports and maintaining documentation+ Customer service or dispatch experience+ Ability to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions**Pay Details:** $20.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
