1st Shift Forklift Operator

Schedule: Monday through Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
3-4 WEEK ASSIGNMENT

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Forklift Operator to join our team on 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have experience operating both sit-down forklifts and reach trucks in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Candidates should demonstrate a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and dependable attendance record.

Position Responsibilities:

• Safely operate sit-down forklifts and reach trucks to load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials
• Load and unload products from 53-foot trailers efficiently and accurately
• Move materials throughout the warehouse while maintaining safety and quality standards
• Assist with inventory organization and general warehouse duties as needed
• Follow all company safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines
• Work collaboratively with team members to support daily operational goals
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

• Previous sit-down forklift and reach truck experience required
• Ability to safely load/unload trailers and move product in a warehouse setting
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and productivity
• Good attendance and punctuality are required
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:

Standing/Walking:
Job requires standing throughout the entire shift. Short-distance walking of 5–50 feet on a periodic basis during the shift depending on assigned duties.

Lifting/Carrying:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds individually. Ability to safely work with another team member to carry barrels up to 100 pounds. Frequency of lifting and carrying varies based on job tasks.

Pushing/Pulling:
Pushing carts is regularly required as part of daily duties. Occasional pulling to steer carts may also be necessary. A force of up to 50 pounds may be required to move loaded carts. Tasks requiring force greater than 50 pounds will require team lifting assistance.
