Location: Phoenix, AZ - Hybrid
Payrate: $25.58/hour on W2
Duration: 06 months contract with potential extension

This position serves as a Contract Specialist for the Engineering Consultant Section. The specific duties for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Responsibilities

• Experience and knowledge of construction contracts.
• Knowledge and understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Review and reconcile accounting transactions.
• Review and approve accounts payable transactions per contract requirements.
• Prepare, review, and process reports and invoices.
• Apply accounting practices and procedures.
• Understand and support budget and expenditure activities.
• Utilize computer applications including Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Organize and prioritize work assignments effectively.

• Experience and knowledge of construction contracts.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
• Experience reviewing and approving payment reports and invoices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Google applications.
• Knowledge and understanding of GAAP.
• Understanding of budgeting and expenditure fundamentals.

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
