The position leads daily production activities, supports process and technical issues, and coordinates cross-functional collaboration to maintain productivity, quality, and delivery targets.The production engineer plays a critical role in managing production operations, providing technical support for manufacturing processes, and responding to production issues and NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports). This position focuses on maintaining production stability, improving operational efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing line.ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage daily operations of the production line to ensure production targets and operational goals are achievedMonitor and manage production performance indicators including OEE, productivity, yield, and downtimeProvide technical support for production processes and assist in resolving equipment, process, and product-related issuesLead initial response and troubleshooting for production issues to minimize downtime and maintain line stabilityCoordinate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve technical and operational issuesSupport and manage NCR investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to prevent recurrenceSupport continuous improvement activities to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce quality costsMonitor production workflow and ensure proper coordination of materials, manpower, and equipmentComplete required documentation and audits as required by the positionRegular and reliable on-site attendance is requiredPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsStrong understanding of manufacturing processes and production line operationsAbility to analyze and resolve technical issues in production environmentsBachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electronics Engineering preferredLanguage: Fluent in English, Korean preferredExperience3+ years of experience in manufacturing or production operationsExperience supporting production line troubleshooting and process improvementExperience working with manufacturing equipment, automation systems, or MES preferredPhysical Requirements• Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following PPE for a period of up to 12 hoursSafety glasses• On-site Requirement: Due to the nature of the role—specifically the requirement for real-time troubleshooting, and direct collaboration with production line operators—this position is 100% on-site.LGESVT is an Equal Opportunity employer that values the diversity of its workforce.
