AIRO is offering a unique opportunity to join a highly focused and motivated team of engineers in defining, designing, and implementing these advanced systems.About the RoleThe Staff Accountant will support the Accounting Manager in executing a timely and accurate monthly close. This role is well-suited for a detail-oriented accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment and is looking to grow within a high-visibility corporate finance function. The Staff Accountant is expected to work on-site in north Phoenix (Deer Valley area) with an option for limited remote work.What You'll DoPrepare journal entries for month-end close, including accruals, reclassifications, and recurring entries across multiple entitiesReconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate and resolve variancesSupport intercompany reconciliation processes, including identifying and resolving out-of-balance positions across subsidiariesMaintain workpapers and documentation in support of internal controls and audit readinessCoordinate with subsidiary accounting teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of close deliverablesSupport accounts receivable functions including customer invoicing, collections follow-up, and cash application across entitiesAssist in maintaining accurate AR aging schedules and coordinating with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies or outstanding balancesAssist with ad hoc requests as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting1–3 years of accounting experience preferredStrong understanding of GAAP and multi-entity consolidation conceptsProficiency in Microsoft ExcelCompany BenefitsPaid Time Off (PTO)Paid HolidaysMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA)401(k) with company matchEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)AFLAC Hospital, Critical Illness, AccidentBasic Life Insurance – fully paid by the company for employees and their dependentsLong-Term Disability Insurance – fully paid by the companyVoluntary Short-Term Disability InsuranceSupplemental Life Insurance optionsThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive, and the employee may also be asked to perform other reasonably related job duties as assigned by their immediate supervisor as required.
