Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a premier retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. In this customer-focused role, you will interact with guests and staff, respond to site needs, and bring integrity, reliability, and teamwork to every shift.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $32.62 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon11:00 AM - 08:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 08:00 PMSun11:00 AM - 07:00 PMWhat You'll Do:* Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail environment.* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor areas, common areas, entrances, exits, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.* Monitor access points, support closing and opening activities as directed, and report unusual behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations observed during patrols.* Assist with crowd management, guest directions, and customer inquiries while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter disruptions and supports daily retail operations.Minimum Requirements:* A minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience is required.* Graduation from a law enforcement or military police training program, or equivalent, is required.* A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.* Customer service experience is preferred.* Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:* Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.* Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.* Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.* Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.
