ResponsibilitiesExtensive customer service in person, via e‑mail, and high‑volume phone calls for a variety of student account related functions for ASU Student Business Services.Research account activity to identify issues and resolve those issues in assigned area or report issues to the appropriate department.Initiate in‑house collection activities for past‑due student accounts receivable and Perkins loan balances for the University by phone, e‑mail, and/or letter writing, including advising of available re‑payment options.Process transactions including waivers, charges, and credits to student accounts.Prepare reconciliations and departmental reports utilizing a variety of software including PeopleSoft and Microsoft Office.Review, process, and resolve accounts including but not limited to tuition, billing, and collection of account related matters.Develop and create correspondence in response to student account inquiries.Create online account comments to ensure proper documentation of collection efforts utilized to either secure payment or recommend collection agency assignment.Update departmental procedures relating to assigned accounting functions and ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Institutional guidelines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
