Warehouse - Order Selector

Warehouse Order Selector Job Responsibilities:

• Select customer orders from warehouse shelves or racks
• Read work orders, product sheets, or computer printouts to determine items to be included in customer shipments
• Scan bar codes or compare product names or numbers on shelves to those required for orders
• Gather products and fill orders within specified time limits
• Verify that correct products and quantities have been collected before shipping

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret documents
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain focused and work at a fast pace while accurately fulfilling orders
• Comfort working in a warehouse environment

Summary:

Shipping about 100 parcels per day. No lifting over 25lbs. Must have good computer skills. Will use RF Scanners - basic shipping software knowledge is a plus. Temperature controlled environment. Will use pallet jack. Will be required to complete general clean-up task daily - sweeping warehouse, emptying trash, making boxes for next day shipments.
