They are currently hiring for Field Service Engineer in Phoenix, AZ.
Role overview:
The Field Service Engineer II works to provide in-house and on-site service support for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This includes cryogenic pumps, vacuum robot systems, and laser annealing tools. The role is responsible for troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, installation, calibration, and repair activities while ensuring compliance with customer requirements and service level agreements (SLAs).
This position requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, structured troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in cleanroom and field environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform installation, maintenance, calibration, repair, and recovery of semiconductor and vacuum equipment
- Respond to customer service calls and diagnose technical issues to implement corrective actions
- Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure equipment reliability and uptime
- Maintain accurate equipment logs, service documentation, and spare parts inventory
- Participate in engineering support activities including data collection, troubleshooting collaboration, and field implementation
- Travel domestically and internationally (up to 25%) and support non-standard schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience preferred
- 5 years of hands-on experience with semiconductor, vacuum, or related technical equipment
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Ability to travel internationally when required (training is in Japan)
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $95,000-$125,000
