About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Business Development with a focus on digital solutions and a strong background in the Systems Integration (SI) ecosystem. This elite, player-coach role is pivotal in driving high-value digital solutions, particularly in the realm of complex integrations. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic revenue leadership, identifying and closing significant opportunities to meet an annual target. A key aspect of the role is C-Suite advisory, acting as a peer to senior technology and engineering executives, and leading discussions on AI-driven problem-solving. The VP will also be involved in end-to-end deal ownership, from whiteboarding solutions to negotiating multi-million dollar contracts, and will be expected to maintain a robust portfolio within the financial services, insurance, fintech, and insurtech sectors.

The ideal candidate for this position is a veteran in the SI space, with a proven track record of at least 15 years in business development or sales leadership. They should have deep technical expertise in data-centric integrators and platforms, and a strong network in the financial services and insurance sectors. The role requires an independent executor who can operate effectively in a nimble, results-oriented environment, and is capable of handling the execution and delivery planning without relying on a large support team. The candidate should be adept at consulting at the C-suite level, and be prepared to personally structure complex RFP contracts. This is a remote role, but the candidate must be based in a major city in the Eastern Time Zone or the Eastern part of the Central Time Zone.
