Provides for children's safety on school buses and for ensuring a safe environment. Bus monitors are responsible for attending to children's minor medical needs; ensuring safety of children including securing safety belts, car seats and wheelchairs on buses; assisting bus driver clean the vehicle; assisting in stocking vehicles with supplies; monitoring student behavior and safety within District vehicles; and documenting incidents as necessary. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents colleagues, and community. CPR Certificate with AED First Aid Certificate Valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card is required High School Diploma or GED is required; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. 26/27 school year; 30 or more hours per week; 193 days per school year Salary: Band A10 - $15.67/hr entry level (with benefits)
