Commercial Loan Closing Specialist (Contract)

Location: Chandler, AZ – 2800 S Price Rd

Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Overview

We are seeking a Commercial Loan Closing Specialist to support day-to-day operations within Commercial Lending during a major system conversion initiative from AFS to LoanIQ. This role will focus on commercial loan booking, funding activities, and supporting operational efficiencies as teams transition into the LoanIQ platform.

Responsibilities

• Book and fund commercial loans using LoanIQ (LIQ)
• Review and interpret commercial loan credit agreements and closing documentation
• Support commercial loan closing operations and funding activities
• Process internal money movement transactions and post funds within internal systems
• Respond to requests from lines of business related to loan funding and servicing activities
• Assist in reducing the learning curve for LoanIQ adoption among operations staff
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within Commercial Loan Closing operations
• Research and resolve low to moderately complex loan closing issues and discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of Commercial Loan Closing experience
• Strong experience with LoanIQ (LIQ) required
• Commercial loan booking and funding operations expertise
• Strong understanding of commercial loan agreements and credit documentation
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AFS platform
• Previous experience supporting commercial lending operations within a large financial institution
