Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative 2 provides customer support services by assisting the public through phone and in-person interactions. The role involves handling inquiries, resolving complaints, processing customer requests, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with established guidelines and procedures. The candidate should possess strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via telephone or face-to-face interactions.
  • Provide information regarding licenses, registrations, permits, titles, and program eligibility.
  • Resolve customer complaints and service issues following agency procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken.
  • Process account updates, address changes, service discontinuations, and related documentation using computer systems.
  • Investigate and escalate unresolved customer concerns to appropriate departments.
  • Determine service charges, collect payments, and assist with billing-related activities.
  • Conduct research and analyze policies/procedures to resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Handle daily cash reconciliation, deposit preparation, and transmission of funds when required.
  • Follow established operational and security guidelines while maintaining confidentiality.

Required Skills:

  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures
  • Strong problem-solving and complaint resolution skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer/data entry proficiency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Bilingual communication skills

Additional Requirements:

  • Local Phoenix, AZ candidates only
  • Must be able to start within 2 weeks of offer

  • Entry-level opportunity with onsite day shift schedule (8 AM – 5 PM)
