Incumbents answer emergency and non-emergency telephones, prioritize the calls, and dispatch emergency personnel to crime scenes and calls for service. Incumbents also enter and maintain warrants, property files, and citations. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - High School Diploma or G.E.D., and one year customer service experience, and one year keyboarding experience. Additional education cannot be substituted for experience. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS - Must be able to attain and maintain Arizona Criminal Justice Information System (ACJIS) Terminal Operator Certification (TOC), Level A. Training and cost for this certification is provided by the Police Department.
