Compensation & Structure
Contract Period (90 days): $37.50/hr
HR Manager (W2): $42.50/hr
SR HR Manager (1 Year): $50.00/hr + 2.5% revenue share (paid quarterly, eligible after Year 1)
Paid billable client hours + pre-approved internal hours = 40 hours/week
Expected Year 2+ earnings: $95,000–$120,000+ annually (no maximum)

Our HR Managers act as the dedicated HR leader for multiple businesses simultaneously, building trust, solving problems, and delivering practical results across industries.
The Role
We are looking for an HR Manager to serve our growing base of Phoenix and Scottsdale-area clients. This is a client-facing, technology-driven consulting role — not a back-office HR position.
Work is split 50/50 between on-site client visits and remote work. Regular travel throughout the Phoenix and Scottsdale metro is required — candidates must be comfortable commuting across the valley on a daily basis. Occasional travel to Moss Consulting internal company meetings (outside Phoenix) will also be required.
You will work directly with business owners and employees, managing payroll, onboarding, benefits, and compliance across multiple companies — and delegate work to our HR Generalists to ensure every client is fully supported.

Travel Requirements
Local Travel (Regular): Daily driving throughout the Phoenix and Scottsdale metro area. Must have reliable personal transportation.
Out-of-Area Travel (Occasional): Periodic travel for internal Moss Consulting team meetings, training, and company events.
Technology & Workflow
This role operates daily across multiple systems and platforms. Tech fluency is non-negotiable.
