About ASR ASR Construction Group is a self-performing water and wastewater General Contractor with dedicated piping and concrete crews servicing the state of Arizona. ASR specializes in renovations, repair, and new construction of water infrastructure projects ranging from $20K to $20M. Role Description ASR Construction Group is seeking a Construction Project Engineer for a full-time, on-site role in our Mesa, AZ office. The Construction Project Engineer will assist with all aspects of construction efforts including, but not limited to the following responsibilities: · Oversee project administrative duties. · Analyze and interpret project plans and specifications. · Assist in problem-solving efforts with project management staff self-perform crews. · Assist in project scheduling and financing. · Execute project submittal process. · Create purchase orders, work orders, and subcontractor documentation. · Oversee material purchasing and procurement. · Coordinate project schedule updates. · Relay information from owner, engineer, and trade partners to project management and construction field teams. The successful candidate will work alongside Project Management Teams to ensure successful project execution. Additional duties include fostering trade partnerships, assisting in company growth, and undergoing education and training opportunities to increase knowledge and skills in the industry. Work Environment The Construction Project Engineer will spend 80% of the time in the Mesa office and 20% of the time outside of the office on construction jobsites, trade partner facilities, and client offices. Travel may be required across Arizona. Qualifications · Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent work experience required. · 2+ years' experience is preferred. · Experience in using Microsoft Suite, Bluebeam, Procore is preferred. AutoCAD experience a plus. · Attentive learner with the ability to analyze and execute assigned tasks in a fast-paced environment. · Strong communication skills and relationship-building capabilities. · Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. · Drive for personal and professional growth within the industry.
