TSMC Arizona is looking for a Warehouse Operator to join our 5-nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. TSMC Arizona's Material Management Department's own Warehouse Management Programs is responsible for material handling (receiving, stowing, picking, packing, fulfilling, etc.), inventory management (quality and accuracy), and continuous process improvements.
The Warehouse Operator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the TSMC AZ warehouse and providing administrative support to the warehouse supervisor, process engineering team, and management. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment, with strong demonstration of teamwork and leadership skills. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software (SAP experience is a bonus) Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to drive a car, truck, and powered industrial machinery like a forklift. Physical fitness for performing the warehouse activities like standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, and occasionally lifting heavy objects up to 49LBS. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically, prioritize work and make sound decisions. Working knowledge of relevant regulations such as HAZMAT material handling and storage with certification, or ability to become certified in one or more of these areas, as necessary.
The Warehouse Operator plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective administration and operation of the warehouse and material fulfillment center. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic, who is able to work independently and as part of a team. ERT Participation: If hired for this position, you may be required to participate in and perform Emergency Response Team (ERT) duties as an essential part of the role. These duties may include responding to F21 incidents, such as medical emergencies, chemical spills, fire response, or addressing any other disruptions to business operations. If you are selected by your manager to become a part of ERT, participation is mandatory.
