A strategic and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) will play a critical role in shaping the future of the organization-driving operational excellence, scaling our infrastructure, and ensuring alignment between our strategic vision and day-to-day execution.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO, translating business vision into scalable operational strategies that drive growth, efficiency, and client impact
  • Lead and optimize end-to-end operations across Client Experience, Technology, and Finance, ensuring seamless execution and strong cross-functional alignment
  • Drive operational excellence by establishing clear KPIs, improving core business processes, and leveraging technology to enhance performance and scalability
  • Champion a client-first mindset by strengthening onboarding, service delivery, and support models to maximize satisfaction, retention, and engagement
  • Partner closely with technology leadership to align product development, infrastructure, and cybersecurity with evolving business and client needs, including ownership of product roadmap direction
  • Oversee vendor strategy, business systems, and operational tools to improve efficiency, visibility, and decision-making across the organization
  • Manage financial performance, including budgeting, cost optimization, and resource allocation, to support sustainable growth
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, data security standards, and corporate governance requirements
  • Build, develop, and lead high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Act as a liaison with Brown & Brown leadership to support enterprise initiatives and ensure alignment with broader organizational priorities
What You Bring
  • 10+ years of senior operations leadership experience
  • Background in healthcare, insurance, or technology (college health experience a plus)
  • Proven success managing complex operations and driving measurable improvements
  • Strong expertise in process optimization, project management, and technology integration
  • Excellent communication skills with experience engaging executive stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience with CRM/workflow tools (Zendesk preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred
