Technical Design Director - MRAM

Location: Chandler, AZ (3+ days onsite weekly)

Type: Full-Time, W2 Only (No sponsorship now or in the future)

Compensation: $175K+ Base (DOE) + Bonus (p. 1)

The Role

Reporting to the VP of Design, you will lead a mixed-signal memory design team (analog, digital, layout, and verification) to develop innovative MRAM products. You will be responsible for driving the design schedule, growing the team, and overseeing the full flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead and grow a mixed-signal design team; coordinate with marketing, product, and test engineers to drive bug fixes and yield improvements.
• Circuit Design: Collaborate with the analog team on memory circuit design and block architecture.
• Technical Oversight: Apply expertise in analog building blocks (sense amplifiers, drivers, regulators, etc.) and memory interface protocols (xSPI, parallel, DDR).
• Testing & Quality: Review lab test results and develop comprehensive test plans for quality-proven memory products.

Qualifications

• Experience: 15+ years in non-volatile memory design with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Education: MS or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science preferred.
• Technical Depth: Familiarity with full analog/digital design flows and memory interface protocols.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and a commitment to high ethical standards and team collaboration.
