Parts Clerk

Compensation: $20 to $28 an hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday only, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the parts inventory for this location are picked up and organized in an appropriate and timely manner.
• Clearly communicate the arrival or the part
• Ensure that the workflow of the shop is clean and orderly.
• Help to ensure that all work orders, keys, and cars are ready to be repaired according to schedule.
• Answer the phone and deal directly with vendors.
• Always maintain a neat and clean parts room.
• Recommend ways to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Help to review and perform physical count of all inventory reports.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds via team lifting.
• Good close and far vision ability to inspect the vehicle and drive. Must be able to inspect vehicle to determine repairs needed.
• Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.

Work Environment: Primarily inside shop garage
