Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our growing team in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our commercial construction projects, from planning and development to execution and completion. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as the opportunity to work on a diverse range of exciting construction projects.

Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Managing all phases of the project life cycle, including project planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
2. Coordinating and collaborating with architects, engineers, construction staff, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project success.
3. Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and forecasts, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
4. Identifying, assessing, and managing project risks and issues, and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
5. Preparing and presenting project status reports to stakeholders, and ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards.
6. Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards, and promoting a culture of safety on all projects.
7. Leading and motivating project teams, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
8. Participating in business development activities, including client relationship management and proposal development.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial projects.
2. A minimum of 3-10 years of commercial project experience.
3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
4. Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
5. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions under pressure.
7. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
8. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
10. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
