You will be responsible for building delivery loads with a variety of products onto pallets to fill customer orders in preparation of shipment and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. This work is completed in a fast-paced warehouse environment using powered industrial trucks while adhering to warehouse safety standards at all times. Job Details: Schedule: Day Shift or Night Shift (four 10 hr shifts/wk) This position is seasonal from April to September. Pay: $21/hr. Job Level: 1.ResponsibilitiesUtilize voice-picking software and operate powered industrial equipment (pallet jack and/or hand truck) to build orders by pulling defined quantities of inventory onto pallet(s)Build accurate, quality product orders and ensure the order is secure for transport before being loaded into the truck for deliveryStage completed pallets in designated shipping area(s)Perform daily inspection and minor maintenance (as needed) on equipment to ensure safe operation of equipmentComplete training requirementsRestock product in picking areas as neededAttend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and eventsRequirementsHigh School Diploma (or GED) requiredPrior experience in a warehouse environment preferredPrior experience using a pallet jack (manual or power) or forklift preferredAbility to obtain pallet jack operator certification within one month after hire dateAbility to perform essential functions with little or no supervisionAbility to work weekends and holidays as directed by the businessAbility to lift 50 pounds frequently; may be repetitive
