Walmart Stores - 23701 West Southern Avenue - Responsibilities: Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.; Performs inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs following company guidelines under the direct supervision of a qualified shop technician on Walmart equipment (e.g., trailers) by creating and processing work orders, assessing maintenance and repair needs, identifying needed parts and possible solutions, selecting the best possible solution, conducting maintenance and repairs (e.g., dismounting/installing tires, repairing flats, balancing tires, etc.) following DOT guidelines.; Receives fuel drops and conducts fuel sampling by monitoring the drop to ensure safety compliance, following procedures for fuel additives, monitoring tank levels before and after the drop, collecting and preparing fuel samples for analysis and shipping, and completing appropriate paperwork.; Communicates with customers, suppliers, associates verbally and in writing and completes work orders, records logs, and other documents.; Acts with integrity and serves customers and members, focusing on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
