Job Title: Picking/ Packing
Location: Chandler, AZ
Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm
[Hourly Pay Range $17.50 - $17.50
Employment Type: Temp to hire
Schedule: M- F 8am - 4:30pm
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Picking Associate is responsible for accurately selecting, preparing, and staging customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the use of handheld technology to ensure orders are picked correctly and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using an RFID scanner
- Read and interpret item numbers, customer numbers, and pick tickets
- Verify product quantities and descriptions to ensure order accuracy
- Maintain productivity standards while meeting quality expectations
- Stage completed orders for shipping or further processing
- Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged items to leadership promptly
- Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Ability to use an RFID scanner or similar handheld device
- Strong reading skills for numbers, labels, and customer identifiers
- Detail-oriented with a focus on efficiency and accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Prior warehouse or order picking experience
- Basic computer skills
- Familiarity with warehouse productivity or performance standards
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when needed
Schedule & Work Hours:
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Overtime opportunities as needed
- Occasional Saturday shifts; associates will be notified in advance
Work Environment:
- Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures
- Fast-paced, team-oriented environment
