Retail Store Driver

Job Overview: The Retail Store Driver is responsible for the safe, timely delivery of merchandise from a Leslie's store location while providing excellent customer service. This role supports both delivery operations and in-store activities, including warehouse support, inventory management, and customer assistance.

The Retail Store Driver will ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety standards while maintaining proper documentation and vehicle inspections. In addition to deliveries, this role assists with store operations such as stocking, loading and unloading trucks, processing orders, and maintaining an organized warehouse and retail environment.

Pay Range: $17.30 - $19.30 Compensation within range to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge and skills, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Responsibilities:

• Safely deliver merchandise to customer locations while complying with DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle and maintain required documentation
• Maintain the store delivery log and ensure all delivery paperwork is accurate and complete
• Provide excellent customer service when delivering merchandise and assisting customers with products
• Assist customers in-store with purchases, product questions, and order processing
• Support store operations including inventory control, stocking, and warehouse organization
• Load and unload trucks and ensure all deliveries are properly secured for transport
• Process orders and assist with outbound sales calls when needed
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, delivery vehicle, and store environment
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to safely lift and move merchandise as needed
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Retail or operations experience preferred
• Swimming pool industry experience is a plus
