Warehouse Material Handler

Perform the unloading, loading, warehousing, and staging of merchandise throughout the Distribution Center using manual and/or mechanical means.

Essential Job Functions:

• Unload inbound freight/load outbound freight
• Sort, warehouse, stage, and load/unload cartons in an accurate, safe, and efficient manner
• Pull merchandise from multiple levels of shelving or move merchandise to open areas for pulling and distribution in replenishment department
• Must be able to work in all departments performing various functions of the Material Handler position on a regular, consistent basis
• Must be able to perform physical requirements (described below) on a regular, consistent basis
• Must meet monthly production and quality standards
• Reliable and consistent attendance
• Operate manual and/or mechanical equipment in a safe and effective manner and maintain proper certifications

Physical Requirements:

• Continuous (67% to 100%)
  • Lifting 1-50 lbs. to 60" (shoulder height)
  • Lifting 1-35 lbs. to 78" (overhead)
  • Carry 1-50 lbs. up to 10 ft.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Complete all paperwork for any warehousing or replenishment activity in an accurate and neat manner
• Performs all aspects of the Merchandise Processor position upon request of supervisor
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school education or equivalent
• Three months previous Distribution Center experience or equivalent experience
• Ability to perform basic math skills accurately including addition, subtraction, and multiplication
• Must be able to fill out paperwork and forms neatly and accurately
