A fast-growing, private equity–backed operating platform is hiring an Accounting Manager to support its continued expansion through acquisitions. This is a newly created role driven by growth and is ideal for a strong, hands-on accounting professional who enjoys ownership, variety, and working closely with both executive leadership and field operations.

The Accounting Manager will oversee the full accounting lifecycle for approximately two operating entities and play a key role in improving close timelines, strengthening processes, and helping the organization scale as acquisitions accelerate.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own full-cycle accounting and month-end close for assigned operating companies
• Manage and streamline close processes with a goal of shortening the current close timeline
• Oversee general ledger activity, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Partner closely with operations leaders to explain financial results and support decision-making
• Serve as a key liaison between accounting, field teams, and executive leadership
• Support integration of newly acquired entities
• Play a role in the upcoming transition from QuickBooks to a larger ERP platform
• Contribute to building scalable accounting processes as the organization grows

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5–10 years of accounting experience
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with executives and non-finance partners
• Hands-on background; strong Senior Accountants ready to step into an IC-focused manager role are encouraged to apply

Preferred Experience

• Multi-site or multi-entity accounting exposure
• Experience in smaller, owner-operated or QuickBooks-based environments where you handled all aspects of accounting
• Comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving organizations
