Job Details

We are an optometrist office promoting a positive environment in Scottsdale looking to fill a full-time Selling/Dispensing Optician position. The office hours are Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 6:00PM and Saturdays 10:00AM to 2:00PM. The full-time position would include one day off during the week as well as Sundays, and requires 1-2 Saturdays a month. Competitive pay and benefits offered to full time employees.

Likes to Sell!

Knowledge of contact lenses and the ability to teach insertion and removal

Solid background in spectacle lens designs

Strong optical skills to perform exceptional frame styling

Ability to educate patients on appropriate lens features to compliment their life style needs

Lensometry skills

Basic frame repair, maintenance and adjustments

Understanding of vision and medical insurances

Answering phones

Insurance authorization and verification

We are seeking an experienced team player with exceptional customer service skills and a strong work ethic. Someone who is responsible, a self starter, and dependable. Since we are a busy, private practice, experience is required. Excellent computer skills, great attention to detail and superior customer service are necessary to provide exceptional eye care for our patients.
