Job Title: Assembly Worker Job Description
The Sub‑Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling electronic and mechanical sub‑assemblies that support industrial signaling and safety products. This role requires attention to detail, basic mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow standardized work instructions in a production environment.
Responsibilities
Assemble electronic and mechanical sub‑components according to work instructions, drawings, and BOMs.
Use hand tools and basic power tools, including soldering irons, crimpers, and torque tools.
Perform basic soldering, wire cutting/stripping, fastening, and component installation.
Inspect work for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Follow safety, quality, and production standards.
Meet daily productivity and quality goals.
Essential Skills
Hand tool and basic electronic assembly skills.
Ability to assemble components and wire assemblies.
Use of tools like soldering irons, crimpers, and screwdrivers.
Attention to detail and quality in following work instructions.
Ability to identify defects and ensure assemblies meet quality and safety standards.
Ability to follow instructions and work reliably in a team environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Entry‑level experience in assembly or manufacturing preferred.
Basic hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to stand, sit, or perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
Experience with electronic or electro‑mechanical assembly is a plus.
Basic soldering experience preferred.
Experience reading assembly drawings or work instructions.
Background in manufacturing, automotive, or electronics environments is beneficial.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
