Responsibilities & Expectations
Perform receiving inspection of raw materials and outside service provider (OSP) products.
Inspect and approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting or returning nonconforming materials.
Review documentation such as certificates of conformance, test results, and process control records.
Verify conformance to vendor purchase orders and/or customer requirements.
Prepare raw material coupons for validation testing at third-party ISO 17025 accredited labs; evaluate and file results.
Issue and manage closure of supplier SCARs (Supplier Corrective Action Requests) and nonconformances.
Document inspection results in reports, logs, and quality databases.
Maintain a safe and compliant work environment following company and legal standards.
Continuously improve job knowledge through training and technical reading.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
U.S. citizenship or valid Permanent Resident status required (due to defense-related work)
1-2 years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, and inspection methods
Proficient with measuring tools (calipers, gauges, meters, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret aerospace drawings, specifications, and customer documents
Competent in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Must pass a visual acuity exam
