This position will provide exceptional food service to hotel restaurant guests while maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor.What You Will Be Doing:* Greets and takes food and drink orders from restaurant customers, serving the orders and accommodating special needs/requests.* Memorizes menu items, recipes and daily specials in order to answer questions and make recommendation to customers.* Clear tables during function (pre-bus)* Complete assigned sidework.* Food prep and service in accordance with Health Dept. regulations and guidelines.* Correctly operating all foodservice equipment and proper food handling procedures* Accurate sales transactions and payment processing* Communicate with other staff and guests in a courteous and professional manner* Inventory control and daily restocking* Adhere to all Cousins Maine Lobster & Midas Hospitality policies and procedures* Facility upkeep including daily and continuous cleaning of concession stands and equipment* Any other related duty as assigned by the F&B Supervisor, Assistant General Manager & General ManagerThe Ideal Candidate:* Must be able to work a flexible schedule, as scheduled days and times may vary based on need* Must be be friendly, outgoing and willing to go above and beyond* Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 poundsAbout Us:From humble beginnings in 2006 to an enterprise being driven by more than 1,000 people today, Midas Hospitality has never lost sight of our #1 priority - people.
