Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
  • Developing and implementing tailored care plans in partnership with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Administering medications and treatments safely while monitoring patient responses.
  • Recognizing changes in patient conditions and providing timely interventions.
  • Collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, case managers, and other professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educating patients and families about their diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans.
  • Adhering to infection prevention protocols and effectively responding to medical emergencies.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
  • BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire
