Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Security Officer role located at the Hyatt Regency in Phoenix, AZ. The Security Officer will work to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff, regularly patrolling the property to prevent and respond to safety and security incidents. Responsibilities include monitoring surveillance systems, enforcing property policies, assisting in emergency situations, providing detailed incident reports, and collaborating with the management team to address safety concerns. A key focus is ensuring the safety of assets, guests, and colleagues while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of security procedures, safety protocols, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies
• Proficiency in observation, situational assessment, and applying conflict resolution strategies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with team members, guests, and law enforcement agencies
• Attention to detail and ability to prepare detailed and accurate reports on incidents
• Physical stamina and alertness to perform patrols and handle emergency situations
• Experience with security monitoring systems and tools is a plus
• Professional demeanor, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to follow organizational protocols
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred
