Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Perform the unloading, loading, warehousing, and staging of merchandise throughout the Distribution Center using manual and mechanical means. A Forklift Operator is required to assist Material Handlers and/or Merchandise Processors and must be able to perform the physical requirements of these positions as well as the physical requirements listed below.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Operate manual and/or mechanical equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain proper certifications to operate required Powered Industrial Trucks
- Sort, warehouse, stage, and load/unload cartons in an accurate, safe and efficient manner
- Unload inbound freight/load outbound freight
- Stage outbound freight in shipping
- Receive and warehouse incoming merchandise into module racks and floor locations
- Pull merchandise from racks or move merchandise to open areas for pulling and distribution
- Performs all aspects of the Material Handler and Merchandise Processor positions upon request of the supervisor
- Complete all paperwork for any warehousing or replenishment activity in an accurate and neat manner
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Hear at a minimum noise level of 71dB

- Lifting 36-50 lbs. to 62" (above shoulder heights)

- Carry 36-50 lbs. up to 10 ft.

- Gripping 31-35 lbs.
- Push/Pull up to 1-50 lbs.
QUALIFICATIONS: - High school education or equivalent
- Three months previous Distribution Center experience or equivalent
- Ability to perform basic math skills accurately
- Manual dexterity required
- Must be able to complete paperwork and forms neatly and accurately
- Ability to operate forklifts in accordance with Company policies and protocols
- Completion of all applicable Company-required safety and training requirements
