The position offers benefits, training, and full time hours. There may be an opportunity to extend the assignment, or become a regular employee, based on performance and business needs./ph3Job Summary/h3pIn this role, you will perform labor along a production line. Operates, inspects, and troubleshoots production line machinery and/or assemblies./ph3Essential Duties and Responsibilities/h3ulliVisually inspects, ensures, and assembles parts in process to quality specifications, being aware of critical visual and dimensional defects and determines acceptability of the parts, based on customer specifications./liliAssures accuracy of product packaging and tractability as required, including generating labels, the correct labeling of containers, and accurate part count./liliOperates and maintains production auxiliary equipment utilizing the correct safety precautions./liliMaintains a clean, orderly and safe workstation and environment at all times./liliCommunicates with Production leadership regarding any unacceptable parts and any malfunctions of the production process within their workstation./liliChecks apart counts by weighing and ensuring that scale(s) are set for accuracy./liliFollows all applicable SOPs, GMPs, and DOIs./liliContributes to continuous process improvement efforts to reduce scrap, cycle times, improve efficiency, and eliminate waste./liliProvides a Customer Service attitude when interacting with internal and external customers while accomplishing work, production, and achieving quality standards./liliConforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and safety rules./liliComplies with the companys safety policy at all times/liliComplies with the companys quality policy at all times/liliExhibits regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance./liliMay be required to work mandatory overtime and/or irregular hours and/or on irregular days to complete assignments and meet business needs./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulh3Education/h3ulliHigh School Diploma or GED required/li/ulh3Work Experience/h3ulliNo min required/li/ulh3Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities/h3ulliExperience with cGMP purchasing practices, ISO, and medical device manufacturing./liliAble to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description./liliSupport and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target/liliAble to comply with the companys safety policy at all times./liliAble to comply with the companys quality policy at all times./li/ulh3Travel Requirements/h3pNone: No travel required/ph3Physical Requirements/h3pMedium-Exerting up to 50lb/22kg of force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs/9kg of force frequently, and/or up to 10lbs/4kgs of force constantly to move objects./ppWest is an equal opportunity employer and we value diversity at our company.
