We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to enhance our front-end service and deliver exceptional customer experiences. As a Customer Service Assistant, your contributions will ensure that our customers enjoy a pleasant and satisfying shopping journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carefully bag groceries to ensure they are secure and easy for customers to carry.
  • Efficiently retrieve shopping carts and baskets from the parking area.
  • Maintain a tidy department by cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and stocking products as needed.
  • Operate cash register equipment when necessary to assist during busy times.
  • Help manage customer flow and quickly address any backed-up lines to maintain smooth operations.
  • Arrive on time, well-groomed, and ready to provide excellent service.
  • Deliver top-notch customer service to all shoppers, enhancing their shopping experience.
  • Maximize sales potential during shifts through customer engagement.
  • Follow company policies and established procedures diligently.
  • Keep a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment for the safety of all.
  • Complete opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned by management.
  • Report any safety hazards or violations immediately to ensure a safe environment.
  • Engage in additional tasks as directed by management to support the team.

Experience:

No prior retail experience is required; we are willing to train motivated applicants.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • The position requires standing or walking for 6-8 hours during a shift.
  • Hand use for grasping, fine manipulation, and pushing/pulling is necessary.
  • Involves bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching throughout the workday.
  • May have exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
  • Work in varying temperatures: below 32°F (freezing), 32-40°F (refrigerated), and up to 90°F.
  • Ability to work comfortably in wet and cold environments.
  • Must be flexible with scheduling, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment, including box cutters and electric pallet jacks, is a plus.
