Position Summary: As a Customer Service Associate in our Snack Bar, you play a crucial role in delivering top-notch service in a dynamic food and beverage setting. Your responsibilities will include managing customer transactions, ensuring cleanliness, assisting with kitchen tasks, and overseeing inventory management. This is a non-exempt position that typically reports to the Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and take food orders, providing accurate menu information while identifying opportunities to up-sell products.
  • Efficiently operate the cash register, process payments in cash or credit, accurately handle change, and follow cash handling policies.
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked work area to enhance the customer experience.
  • Assist with inventory management by reconciling transactions and moving supplies between storage and working areas.
  • Support kitchen operations as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Receive and manage inventory, ensuring the safe transfer of food and beverage products.
  • Adhere to proper food handling procedures, including wrapping, labeling, and monitoring product temperatures.
  • Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to engage positively with customers and coworkers.
  • Physical capability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods; must be able to lift/push objects over 40 lbs.
  • Ability to read, understand instructions, and communicate effectively with customers.
  • Cash handling and customer service experience is preferred.
